John Noakes (1802 – 13 April 1840) was an English cricketer. Noakes' batting style is unknown. Noakes made his first-class debut for Kent against Sussex at the Royal New Ground, Brighton in 1826. Batting first, Sussex made 133 all out, to which Kent could only respond in their first-innings with 43 all out, with Noakes being dismissed for a duck by William Lillywhite. Sussex then made 143 all out in their second-innings, with Kent making just 71 all out in their second-innings, with Noakes making 8 runs before he was dismissed by George Brown. In response Kent made 62 all out, with Noakes being dismissed by Lillywhite for 11 runs.
